A Breakthrough
“My family, friends and I had long since decided that I was computer “blocked”. I had never been able to do any work on a computer, even though I had attended several courses over the years. I even had certificates to show I had completed the courses. It was like having a driver’s license but not knowing how to drive a car! The truth is that I could not even bring myself to press the “enter” key. My kind husband tried to encourage me by buying an expensive computer but it just sat there. I never touched it. My new year’s resolution this year was simply to be able to send one email. I asked Mahati to help me. Within one week after the Edu-K balance I was corresponding by email with my sisters and friends from all over the world. I was excited. It took my family and friends some time to believe that I was over my computer block. Now I have no fear of the computer. I am trying to do computer operations even if I don’t know how to do them. A Dramatic Shift in Attitude
“I was surrounded by family and friends who were really into music. I considered myself ‘musically dead, tone deaf and can’t sing’. I had issues with music that were painful and complex. It was easier to be “not interested” in music. I began to see how much I was missing out on. We would go camping with friends and the guitars would come out and the singing start. Some of the other women would harmonize. I realized that I wanted to be like them because they were having a lot of fun. I hadn’t sung a note since primary choir, not even in the shower.
I started singing lessons and started Edu-K sessions. It is difficult to describe or even understand what we did in the three sessions. There were questions, exercises and movements. I had movement homework to do. It felt wonderful and relaxing. Mahati was both professional and compassionate. I finished each session with a sense of peace and well-being. Four months later, I am singing along with my friends. It has been surprisingly easy. I have no ambition to be a singer. However, singing a song is a very different experience to the moment in our first session when I was asked to sing something and I cried and wobbled through it. A Maths Miracle
“I had always been terrible at Maths. I repeatedly failed almost all tests, and managed to barely scrape through exams in my five years of high school. Last year I was in Year 12 and preparing to do my final exams for the International Baccalaureate. I had no problem with any of my other subjects, except for Maths. For my trial exams I spent more time with Maths than any other subject. My private Maths tutor spent hours with me, helping me to prepare. I did the trial exams with total confidence and as a result was crushingly disappointed when I again failed. My teacher predicted that I would receive a band 3 if I did well in the final exam (the IB bands go up to 7). However, I was advised to be realistic and be satisfied with a band 2. I lost all drive to do Maths and I found myself hating anything that had anything to do with it. Three weeks before my exams my level in Maths had deteriorated even further. Out of desperation, I sought help through Edu-K. At the end of the balance, Mahati gave me a set of brain gym exercises to do every day. Within a few days I was sitting down doing Maths again (a big achievement in itself). A week later my ability to understand and correctly work out sums had improved. By the final week I was enjoying doing Maths. I was actually looked forward to my Maths study time! I did my final exam feeling confident and could tell when I was getting a sum right and I could tell when there was an error. This was something that I could never do before. The exam seemed easy and I remained cautiously optimistic. When I received my marks my teacher was shocked and I was very pleased. I received a high band six. Although I stumbled blindly through all my years of schooling, failing Maths miserably most of the time, Edu-K helped me to shine in the one and only Maths exam that actually counted.”

Attention Deficit and Language Development Delay
“Ms Mahati Belnick has been a beacon of hope for my son Dinesh aged 6 ½ years, who has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit and Language Development Delay.
I met Ms Mahati about 6 months ago. She took pains to understand the complete background and analysed the situation thoroughly before attempting to start working with Dinesh. She systematically approached the problem with herself, the instructor; me, the parent and the child as three vertices of the solution matrix. Overcoming Fear of Public Exams
“I really love to share my feelings and experience I had after doing Brain Gym.
Brain Gym – turned an above average student to an outstanding student. Yes, I was an above average student till 9th Standard. I had my private fears about facing 10th standard examination. Everyone I met advised me that 10th standard is the turning point of everybody’s life and that literally scared me a lot. Even after doing hard work, lack of confidence & examination fear pulled my marks down. This in turn led me to a constant state of disappointment. On top of this, my class teachers were favouring a few students whom they felt will be outstanding in the public exam. All these factors made my studies and exam preparation miserable.

Down’s Syndrome and Edu-K
“Our daughter was diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome. At age 8, we met Mahati Belnick by chance and described our child’s problems to her. Nadiya behaved like a two or three year old child. Although she went to school, she gained nothing from it. She could not read and just scribbled when she wrote. She did not understand rules or instructions. She could not answer questions and would repeat whatever we told her. Everything she did was aimless. Her behavior towards people was very rude and often abusive. We were really worried about the expenses of our daughter’s treatment as my husband worked as a watchman. Mahati Madam immediately offered to work with our child. After just two sessions with her, our daughter underwent a transformation in her behavior.
