Mahati Belnick lives and practices
in Sydney, Australia and from July 2006 bi-annually
in India. Mahati had personally experienced
the effectiveness of Edu-K in the life of her
two daughters who were both affected by dyslexia
related disabilities. They have completely overcome
their problems and become high achievers. It
had been her dream to bring Brain Gym to India,
her homeland, and share these powerful programs
with people of all ages and walks of life. Mahati
is offering courses and consultations bi-annually

My daughter, at the age of 6, was found to have severe
dyslexia related reading and other disabilities. I decided
to home-school her. At 9 yrs of age she was unable to
read simple three letter words. After going from expert
to expert and seeing no improvement in her, I decided
to educate myself to help her. I chose to train in Edu-K.
I had just completed my training in Brain Gym 101. Since
there were no Edu-K consultants where I lived, I decided
to do the Edu-K balances for my daughter, work that
I had only just learned. We followed the balance session
with a selection of Brain Gym movements that we did
everyday for 25 days. On the 25th day I noticed her
reading a novel with no pictures. It was not a book
that I had read to her. It appeared rather odd to me
because she actually seemed to be engrossed in the story.
She was also turning the pages too quickly.
I later found out to that she was indeed reading,
and had become a speed-reader! Thereafter, there was
no stopping her. Within 6 months she'd read every
book she'd been longing to read and was beginning
to read the classics.
